The Vicenza Trade Fair is renowned worldwide for VicenzaOro, the most important international trade fair event dedicated to the world of gold and jewelry. In fact, Vicenza’s trade fair pavilions exhibit the most important trademarks in the sector, many of which have their head office in the Province of Vicenza, the leading world gold and jewelry district. The Vicenza Trade Fair, however, also looks beyond the world of gold and has a series of characteristic events specialized in innovation and technology.
The appointments with the gold shows include VicenzaOro1 (in January), VicenzaOro2 (in June), which also includes Oromacchine, the technology showroom for the gold sector, and Orogemma in September, which also hosts the Showroom of Designers.
The exhibits dedicated to innovation, on the other hand, include a group of events reserved exclusively for professional tradesmen, whose aim is to give visibility to industrial sectors that have a high rate of specialization and strong technological development. This is the case of Microelettronica, the exhibit for components, machinery, printed circuits and electronic instrumentation (in May), SI AS (the Italian Assembly Showroom), SolarExpo on renewable energies, distributed generation and sustainable architecture (in May); Sat Expo, on satellite telecommunications (in October); COM, the exhibit dedicated to marketing and company communications (in November) and Impatec, the packaging technology exhibit (biennial appointment). The Vicenza Trade Fair also hosts several important “niche” events: Koiné, exhibit of furnishings, liturgical objects and components for religious construction (in April) and the National Novello Wine Exhibit, an event that is enjoying great success in Italy and abroad and marks the moment of the a preview and déblocage of the first bottle of Italian novello wine (in November).
